Layer

type

Resolved linework-appearance record (DXF/SketchUp-tag semantics): curve color defaults to its layer's color ("ByLayer"; a material name on the curve entity overrides, like edge paint), width/dash come from the layer only. Materials stay the SURFACE record — a face's fill is its material's baseColor. Renderers honor what they can and ignore the rest (three ignores all three today; SVG maps color/lineWidth/lineStyle to stroke/stroke-width/ stroke-dasharray; DXF maps to layer color/lineweight/linetype).

type Layer
// = {
    name: string;
    /** Linework color, RGB 0–1. */
    color?: Color;
    /** Linework width in WORLD units (mm) — not pixels. */
    lineWidth?: number;
    lineStyle?: LineStyle;
}

LineStyle

type

Dash pattern for linework — DXF/SketchUp-tag semantics. The one spelling: Layer.lineStyle and ViewFilterOverride.lineStyle (evaluate/entities.ts) both carry this type rather than restating the three literals.

type LineStyle
// = "solid" | "dashed" | "dotted"
