faceContours

const faceContours: (input, spacing, base) => unknown[] & { wholeArray: true; }

Slice the chain's face documents at Z = base + k*spacing planes into contour curves — REPLACES the sliced faces with the contour lines (keep the TIN by referencing the previous step's key). Non-face documents pass through untouched; nested blocks already pass through via applyGeometry before this runs. Whole-array: a single cutting plane crosses many triangles at once, and the resulting segments must be chained together across the WHOLE face set, not one triangle in isolation.

triangulate()

triangulate(points?): BrepData[]

Delaunay triangulation of scattered points into a 2.5D TIN: triangulation runs on XY only, Z rides along per vertex (a survey has one elevation per XY sample, not a true 3D tetrahedralization).

Parameters

points?

number[][] = []

Returns

BrepData[]
