The ONE loose node shape every plain-JSON walker sniffs: node-shaped record, every field optional, unknown fields carried through (a walk must never drop a field it doesn't know). Walkers needing strict args (the canonical Argument pair) cast to nodeArgs.ts's ArgCarrier at the point of use rather than restating the carrier here.
